Making Mister Beer Bottle Brew Pilsner

We love trying out new products in our home and even more so when we get to create something in the process.
My mother’s co-worker has been making his own beer for quite a while and swears by this bottled brand, Mister Beer Pilsner. She bought us a couple of bottles to try out.

It was actually quite easy to make. The bottle is non-alcoholic at purchase and comes with two vials (yeast and a special hop recipe) and a pressure cap.
We unscrewed the original cap, put the two vials in and let it settle. We then placed the pressure cap on tightly. It has to be stored for ten to fourteen days upright at room temperature.
It was quite a neat and different experiment. Interested to see how it turns out!

I love celebrating the New Year and one of the best parts about going into the New Year is reflecting on the past year and creating goals for the next year.

Niagara Festival of Lights

We decided to make the trek out to Niagara to take in the sights and of course the annual Festival of Lights. I have such fond memories of the festival from when I was a child and I wanted to make sure my boys could take in the experience as well. I captured our visit in the photos below. I am hoping to make this an annual tradition as we loved it so much.
A collage of all my favourite pictures from our visit.
I love the power of the Falls.
This picture took so long to take! I had to wait until the roads were clear and trying to soothe two cold boys at the same time made for a great balancing act! But was so happy with the way the photo turned out.
