Coffee Delight with International Delight Iced Coffee #review

I was recently given the opportunity to review International Delight Iced Coffee through BzzAgent. I was sitting on the fence with this BzzCampaign as every time I had purchased an iced coffee in store I found it to be too creamy, too strong and overall not very good (let alone the price?!).
International Delight Iced Coffee comes in three flavours: Mocha, Vanilla and Caramel Macchiato. The first flavour I tried was Mocha and I was in love. It has a smooth, chocolaty taste – my weakness is chocolate! This was definitely my favourite flavour. I would also add a bit of it into my morning coffee in replacement of milk and it gave it a rich and creamy taste. There is 150 calories in each cup of Mocha Iced Coffee with 29gm of carbohydrates. One carton cost me roughly $3.99 at Metro (on sale – the most expensive ran about $4.49 at Walmart). I was able to get roughly seven to eight glasses out of each carton – I was also adding them to my coffee in the morning!

Vanilla was my second favourite flavour. It tasted almost like a French Vanilla from Tim Hortons. The Vanilla flavour contains 160 calories in each cup and 31gm of carbohydrates. When added into my morning coffee it definitely tasted like a French Vanilla from a coffee shop!
My least favourite would have to be the Caramel Macchiato. I am not sure what it was about this flavour but I did not like it – maybe I am just not a caramel person. The taste was quite strong and not as smooth as the other two flavours. Each cup contains 150 calories and 29gm of carbohydrates.

I loved the fact that I had a ready to use carton at all times in my fridge to enjoy when I got home from work (no need to stop anywhere on my way home and fight the long lines). It was perfect on top of ice or even just as is. It was an incredibly refreshing drink to have on a hot day. I also loved having a hint of it in my morning coffee in replacement of milk. With a carton ranging from $3.99 to $4.49, you can save a lot of money purchasing the carton versus a daily drink at a coffee shop (not to mention the hassle of driving there, line ups, etc..). You can find International Delight Iced Coffee easily at Walmart, Sobeys, Metro and Fortinos in Canada.
You can follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest offers and promotions (they had a pretty fantastic offer back a month ago on their Facebook page giving away a free International Delight tumbler!).
Have you tried the new iced coffee flavours? What are your thoughts on it – yay or nay?

Always Infinity #Review

This past month I received a box of Always Infinity pads to review from BzzAgent. This was my first time trying out the Always brand – have a huge confession to make I usually go for the cheapest feminine hygiene product on the shelf and do not look at what the others have to offer – if I have a coupon even better! So I was curious to see what all the fuss was about in regards to the new Infinicel (could it really be better then getting a great deal with a coupon??).

I had never heard about Infinicel prior to accepting this opportunity to review the Always Infinity line. The science (yup – you heard that right, the science!!) behind them is that the core is made up of two layers; the top layer absorbs fluids quickly and the bottom layer stores and distributes the fluids. The pads contain microdots (that look like holes – check out the photos below!) and act like little tunnels to get the fluid away from your skin and absorbed quickly. Here is what they look like:

I was so impressed by the quality of the material that is used in producing Always Infinity pads. The pad itself is soft and smooth. The pad is also thin so you do not have the constant worry that everyone can see that you are wearing one.
Here are the top benefits that I found with this pad:
  • Extremely comfortable: Soft top layer of material that is smooth against your skin. The two layers together almost makes it feel like it has a cushion on it!
  • Keeps it’s shape: The pad did not move, wrinkle in spots or bunch up – even while working out and long walks.
  • Absorption rate: The pad absorbs quickly and removes any fluid away from your skin. Leaving you feeling dry and comfortable.
  • Shape of the pad: The back of the pad is actually wider then the front which is perfect for sleeping and laying down.
  • Wings: I am not sure if it is just me (or the fact that I usually buy whatever is cheapest on the shelf) but the wings on this brand were fantastic! They actually stuck to the underwear and stayed in place the whole time.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with both the quality and absorption of the Always Infinity Pads. It is a product that I will definitely be purchasing again (and have already done so since receiving the original package!). They range in price from $4.97 to 8.98CDN (and are actually on Rollback at Walmart Canada right now so well worth a trip in!).  You can usually find coupons for these products (and other great P&G products) at P&G Brandsaver if you are ever worried about cost.
You can also leave your own review on the Always Infinity website to let them know how you feel about their products. Have you tried Always Infinity yet? What are your thoughts?
Disclosure: I received a free box of Always Infinity pads as part of the BzzAgent program in order to provide an honest opinion to BzzAgent. I was not obligated to write a post on my review of the product.  The opinions of this product are my own and not influenced in any way.

Liberte Bebe #Review

Recently I was selected through Yummy Mummy Club to try out Liberte Bebe. This was the first I had ever heard of the product so I was very excited for my little guy to be able to try it out.
I generally do not purchase yogurt geared to toddlers as I do not like the texture, colour and the small amount of yogurt in each container. My eldest son used to eat yogurt geared to toddlers and as he became older he would refuse any type of regular yogurt which really upset me (he has come along way and now eats any type of yogurt!).
Liberte Bebe yogurt comes in two steps:

Step One is a plain yogurt with a lightly sweet taste for infants aged nine months and older. It contains whole milk and has a milk fat content of 6%! It also contains probiotics and Vitamin D.

Step 2 comes in two flavours: Banana and strawberry! It is geared for infants twelve months and older. This step contains a milk fat content of 5% along with probiotics and Vitamin D.

I loved how the yogurt had a creamy, thick texture to it but did not give the appearance nor taste of typical infant yogurt. The container was just slightly smaller than a normal portion of yogurt (which is great as my little one loves his yogurt!). He feel in love with the banana flavour. He actually ate three in a row before I had to stop him!.

Overall, Liberte Bebe was a huge hit in our home and I will definitely be purchasing more of the banana flavoured Step 2 yogurt! You can receive your own free product coupon by visiting their Facebook page and submitting your baby’s first time milestone.

I received two free product coupons for the purpose of providing my opinion to the company and the Yummy Mummy Club. I was not obligated to feature the product on my blog. All opinions on this product are my own and not influenced in any way.

Woolzies Dryer Balls {Review & Giveaway!}

Laundry is one of those chores that no matter how much you want to not have to do it – it is always there. With three boys in our home the laundry pile is forever growing! Some days I feel like I just cleaned and emptied out one laundry basket only to go upstairs and find another one full! Our home can easily go through four to five (full) loads of laundry a week between uniforms, work clothes, soccer uniforms and regular clothes!
I was really excited when I saw that Woolzies Dryer Balls were looking for individuals to try out and review their products. They are completely natural (made out of wool) and 100% eco friendly!!

Both of my children and myself suffer with eczema and skin sensitivities. This being said, I try to avoid as many harsh products as possible and do not switch their detergent often. I do not use dryer sheets in my dryer (mostly because I can never remember to re-purchase them and they are so expensive!) but also because I do not want the added extra chemicals on the clothes especially when my youngest reacted to one brand when he was small.

The Woolzies Dryer Balls are roughly a bit larger then a tennis ball and soft to the touch. They are made 100% of wool (and yet it can still be used by individuals who are allergic or sensitive to wool as they do not shed or fall apart in the dryer) with no added chemicals (they are PVC free!).
What I liked the most about the dryer balls was that I was able to just leave them in my dryer and not have to remember to add anything into the dryer with each load. A couple of times one would slip up a pant leg or sweater and my boys thought it was hilarious to find one hiding in their sweaters one morning while getting ready for school!.
Woolzies Dryer balls last for 1,000 loads!! Which is such an added bonus not to have to keep purchasing dryer sheets every couple of weeks. Laundry can be expensive so to only have to purchase one box and have it last that long is such an added benefit.
With large loads you can not hear them bouncing around at all in the dryer. I did notice with smaller loads that if I added in the full six dryer balls you could hear them slightly. So I just re-adjusted the amount in the dryer by half and there was only a little amount of noise. Because the Woolzies Dryer balls bounce around in the dryer they also cut down the drying time by forming space around your clothes allowing for better air circulation.
I love that the product is handmade by women in Nepal! Pretty neat, eh?!

After two weeks worth of loads (roughly fifteen loads – we had a gastric bug go through our family at the same time so they had some extra work cut out for them!) the dryer balls held their shape and still looked fairly new.

Overall, Woolzies Dryer Balls are a fantastic natural product that you can feel safe and comfortable using for your family. They have the added bonus of being able to be left in your dryer and not have to constantly add in dryer sheets or run out of them!. Check them out on Facebook and enter the giveaway below to win your own box of Woolzies Dryer Balls!

Woolzies Dryer Balls Teaser!

We had an awesome mail day yesterday – we received a box of Woolzies Dryer Balls to try out and review! I was really looking forward to receiving this shipment for various reasons. Most importantly being that the product softens naturally, is100% eco-friendly, chemical free and hypoallergenic!.
Our family suffers from a wide variety of allergies and sensitive skin (including eczema) so having products in the house that are hypoallergenic and natural are very important. I am also trying to learn as much as I can about new eco-friendly products in an effort to become a more green family.

The dryer balls are so neat looking – my son actually thought they were tennis balls!
We will be trying them out over the next two weeks, so come back to hear my review and participate in a giveaway!
If you have a chance – check them out on Facebook or their website.
Let me know if you have tried them out before and what you think!
