Photography Fails #WW

I had quite a few items to photograph this past weekend in order to get caught up on blog posts. What I didn’t take into consideration was the effect that the weather may have on my photos! We had intense heat over the weekend and it seemed to have left a glossy, almost foggy look on all my photos (well I am blaming the weather as this has never happened to me before!). So I am taking my fails and sharing them with you today, if you have any suggestions or tips for this photographer to prevent this, I would love them to as this has never happened to me before.

Weird, right?

Well here are my two only good photos from that day that I took in the shade:

Which ones did you take first? Maybe the lens fogged up when you took it out into the heat? I sometimes bring out my camera early & just leave it in the yard until the lens gets cleared.

On a funnier note, I’m sharing my mishaps this week too. Except, it wasn’t the weather that was causing the fog. My husband was barbecuing and it was so smoky that all my pictures turned out hazy!

I read somewhere that you have to let your camera adjust to the temperature. I havent tried it but I think you need to turn it on and take photos after few minutes. Hope that would work next time to not get fog in your lens.

I’ve not had this happen before but I often have little fingerprints on my lens of my small camera. Your shots with the clear lens are great though. #WordlessWednesday
