It has been such a whirlwind time for us – packing up, moving, unpacking (I am sure you get the picture!!). We are slowly getting our lives back in order (still no computer up and running at home!). I will finally be back up and running again!

ABC Friday Photo Share…P is for Pine cones!

It’s Friday and time for ABC Friday Photo Share hosted by Mom vs the Boys and Maple Leaf Mommy!
This week P is for Pine Cones!

My boys and I took this picture in January (yes late January here in Ontario!). We fell in love with the way the pine cones almost seemed to leave a trail. We had a great time collecting them so that the boys could decorate them with glitter and stickers. We are hoping the weather starts to clear up soon so we can go on more hikes.

Check out more great ABC Friday Photos and enter your link here.

A Proud New PTPA Blogaholic!

I am overjoyed to be able to say that I have been chosen to join the PTPA Blogaholics! I joined PTPA after the birth of my second son almost two years ago. I had a hard time adjusting to maternity leave and felt alone until I stumbled upon this great community of parents. I had found a community where I could share a laugh, get advice and find recommendations on some pretty neat products.
Who am I?
My background is in Kinesiology which I originally went into because of my love of sports (I grew up in a swimming pool and soccer field) and teaching (I taught Red Cross and Lifesaving Society programs for over three years). I have two young boys, aged eight and (an almost!) two year old. Both of my boys are very active in sports and keep us on our toes.
I work full time in a Family Medicine teaching unit and I am attempting to learn how to try to balance my home and work life, while still maintaining a level of sanity. I love cooking, baking and photography. My blog, Working Mommy Journal, is an expression of all my passions and has become an outlet for me as I adjust to life with two young boys and working out of the home.
I am looking forward to connecting with you all! You can also connect with me on Twitter and Facebook.
Have you joined PTPA? You can sign up to be a product tester (for free!) and receive products to review! Best of all you will be helping other parents! You can sign up here
