Track Day #WW w/linky
Our son participated in his very first track meet this past week!
This was new for all of us and I was so impressed with all the children. They had three days worth of heats before the finals. Our son was so excited to have made it to the finals for the 100m and 200m! I can not even begin to explain how talented these children were – they all deserved a medal for performing so well! Here are some of the highlights from the finals:

I am! It was his first year and he really trained hard and gave it his all 🙂 So proud!
It's great to get kids involved in these type of things. Not only does it keep them active and they get exercise but it also keeps them from things that we really don't want them involved in.
So true! I would spend hours with him doing this versus any of the other "bad" stuff he could be doing
