Finding Small Moments of Peace #findlumia
Life is busy. There is no way to get around it – our days are cemented in the daily routines of school and daycare runs, work, after school activities, last minute grocery stops and so on!
Sometimes it is important to stop, take a deep breath and just absorb in the beauty and calm that surrounds us. It helps to centre me and find inner peace. It provides me with the inner strength that I need to carry on my day.
Sometimes it is as easy as stopping by a neighbour’s garden.
Or stopping to take in the view from a hill top.
Heading down to the beaches of Lake Ontario is always important to our family. It gives us time to really be in each others presence and enjoy our time together. There is nothing more calming then the sound of the waves along the beach.
Not to mention being able to toss rocks into the waves!
The beauty of the sun in the sky as it warms your face is always soothing.
How do you find ways to create inner peace in your hectic lifestyle? Do you find you have enough of these moments?
Beautiful pictures. I love to go out in nature and just look around too. It reminds me of how beautiful things are. It also can help when you need to just take a breather and calm down.
Thanks Renee! I love being in nature it really centres me. Reminds me what is truly important in life!
I love the pictures. I feel like the biggest step, for me, is finding something I can focus on. I need a focal point that I can look to so I think, this is what I'm working toward/working on. It helps keep me centered and grounded.
Thanks Bethany! It is so very true – it can be hard to find that one thing to focus on but when you do it really helps!
I can spend so much time just throwing rocks into waves! Great way to de-stress!
It is the best form of relaxation isn't it? My boys love it as well. We have been taking them since they were young.
The pics are great! Are you loving it? Seems pretty great!
LOVE the camera Cathy! I can spend hours on it (although Hubby doesn't like that part too much!!). I was really surprised with the great quality.
Great pics! Looks so relaxing.
Thanks Trina! They are a favourite spots to take time outs from life 🙂
I love to just sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. Those are lovely pictures.
Thanks Abrie! Nature always has a way of relaxing and de-stressing me.
